STEPHEN BRADY
Steve Brady is a retired internist and long-time tropical fruit grower. He planted his first lemon seed when he was 6 - first mango seed at 7 and has been collecting and growing all sorts of exotic fruits for 61 years now. He has traveled widely in the tropics to collect new fruits out of markets and jungles. He helped to found the Naples Botanical Garden and served on its Collections Committee and for a number of years was the curator of the Tropical Fruit and Edible Plants Collection. He teaches an annual class on Mangoes for the UF/IFAS extension service as well as training classes for Master Gardeners.
